Gidget 2009 Ladies Lunch

The Gidget Committee would like to thank those that joined us at our Ladies Lunch on Friday 25th September 2009 The day was an overwhelming success with over $50,000 raised, while 482 women and 4 men shared tales about the highs and lows of motherhood and all agreed that parenting isn’t always easy. The proceeds of monies raised will contribute to the production and distribution of a DVD which chronicles the experience of a woman and her family as they struggle with the illness that is perinatal anxiety and depression. The Gidget Foundation will ensure that this DVD, which will also include resources for mothers and their families and their healthcare providers, is distributed widely.
