Fundraising Events

Our fourth event, the Spring Soiree was held on Thursday 22 November 2005 at The Loft, King Street Wharf.

The event was a resounding success and raised in excess of $55,000.

Our MC, Larry Emdur valiantly attempted to control our rowdy crowd and did so with much appreciated humour. Rowan Webb squeezed the biggest dollar from our guests for each of the auction items available on the night.

In addition to an interview two weeks prior on Sunrise – Channel 7’s morning news show, William Petley from The Sun Herald covered the event in his column in the ‘S’ lift out the following Sunday.
